This one-day jungle trek includes visiting khmu and Lanten minority villages, trekking through the dense Nam Ha National Protected Area, learning about herbs and edible plants and discovering how indigenous people use jungle resources. You’ll also enjoy a Khmu-style jungle picnic lunch
We Depart from the office by Mini Van at 9:00 AM, traveling southwest for about 40 minutes to the place where we start trek. We Stop at a local market for supplies and Chalernsouk village to pick up a local guide. Trek: Begin the ascent from Doiluckkam into the untouched jungle. Your guides will share knowledge about medicinal plants and edible leaves. Lunch: Prepare by Local people ( Lao local food ) and enjoy a picnic lunch on the way trek. Continue Trek after lunch descend through primary forest to rice paddy lands. The trek finish at Nam Ha village, a Khmu Tribe village then returning to Luang Namtha by Mini Van.
