Join us on a 3-day cycling adventure through the beautiful mountains of northern Laos and discover the unique lifestyle of the Akha ethnic group. This trip combines cultural experiences, scenic landscapes, and a rewarding cycling challenge.

We begin at 8:00 AM from our office or your guesthouse and cycle through peaceful countryside to Muang Sing, a multicultural town home to the Tai Lue, Yao, Hmong, Akha, and Tai Dam people. After 6–7 hours of cycling, we relax and stay overnight in Muang Sing.

On day two, enjoy an exciting ride from Muang Sing to Long District (44 km), then continue another 20 km to a remote Akha village. Here, you will spend the night with a local Akha family, experience traditional village life, and enjoy the warm hospitality of the community.

On the final day, we continue cycling to visit more Akha and Kui villages, offering a closer look at local culture and daily life. After returning to Long District and having lunch, we drive back to Luang Namtha by vehicle, ending the adventure with unforgettable memories.

Day1: Meet your guide at the office before departing at 8:30 AM for an exciting cycling adventure from Luang Namtha to Muang Sing District. The ride takes around 6–7 hours through beautiful mountain landscapes and peaceful countryside.

Along the way, we stop at Akha, Lanten, and Khmu villages to take photos, explore the local way of life, and experience the unique culture of the ethnic communities. After a rewarding day of cycling, we arrive in Muang Sing for an overnight stay.

Day2:   Start your morning with a visit to the lively local market before breakfast, where you can experience the daily life of Muang Sing. Watch villagers arrive early with fresh vegetables, local foods, and handmade products from nearby villages. Don’t miss trying the traditional breakfast specialty, Khao Soi — a delicious noodle soup topped with fermented soybean sauce and pork.

At 9:00 AM, we begin cycling from Muang Sing to Long District, covering around 44 kilometers through scenic countryside and farming areas. Along the way, you will see sugarcane fields, banana farms, and rubber plantations, which are the main sources of income for local communities We arrive in Long District around 2:00–3:00 PM and Continue another 20kilomaters to Chommok ( Akha village) where we spend the night there. In the evening, you will enjoy traditional Akha massage before go to bed..

Day3: On the third day, you can wake up early in the morning to walk around the village and observe the traditional lifestyle of the Akha people. Most villagers wake up early to feed their animals and prepare food before heading to their farms and gardens. After that, we return for breakfast before continuing our cycling journey to visit another Akha village and a Kui ethnic village of before riding back to Long District. We will have lunch in Long town and then travel back to Luang Namtha by vehicle, arriving around 4:00–5:00 PM.

What to bring: hat, Sun scream, mosquito repellent, towel, flash light, flip flop or sandal, tissue, Cash for handicraft and for your own snack.
