This unique 3-day trek offers an immersive experience in both nature and culture within Nam Ha NPA. Guided by expert forest guides, you’ll learn about the indigenous lifestyle, stay in a banana leaf camp, fish, hunt frogs, and cook using jungle resources. The trek includes deep jungle walks, learning about medicinal plants, and staying in a traditional hunter’s camp.
Day1: We depart from office/ your Guest house at 9:00 AM by Mini van or Tuk Tuk to the local
morning market to buy some meat, ingredients and fresh vegetable for the trek.
Trekking for the beginning is through secondary forest and farmland before entering dense jungle terrain. Follow narrow wildlife trails surrounded by towering trees, bamboo groves, and rich tropical vegetation., your guide will explain about forest plants, medicinal herbs, and animal signs along the way trek.
We arriving at our Camp site by late afternoon, set deep in the wilderness. Learn basic jungle survival skills from your guide such as using the bamboo to build the Camp and cooking with an open fire, you can help the guide to setup the camp, get experienced of local style.
Enjoy a freshly prepared jungle dinner with candle light; spend the night close to an open fire and you will fall as sleep with the sounds of nature around you.
For your overnight stay, you can choose one of two authentic jungle experiences:
^ Option 1: Jungle Survival Camp
Using bamboo and banana leaves to build your own Camp learn basic survival skills, make an open
fire, and cook in bamboo a true back-to-nature adventure.
^ Option 2: Jungle Hut Overnight
Stay in a simple wooden jungle hut, offering comfort while still fully immersed in nature.
Enjoy a freshly prepared jungle dinner by the campfire and fall asleep to the sounds of the
forest.

Day 2: Jungle discovery – Deep Jungle – Nalan Nuer village Homestay ( Khmu )
Wake up in the morning for tea or coffee witch served by bamboo cup and enjoy listening the sounds of the bird around you, then enjoy breakfast before departure. We start trekking through untouched jungle, following ancient trails used by local communities and wildlife. You will learn know about herb, medicine and other nature resource that the communities used to use for survival in the jungle included the animal tract along the way trek. We will enjoy our lunch at the waterfall after few hours trek from the camp site. We arrive at a welcoming Khmu ethnic village in the late of after noon, where we spend overnight home stay. For the rest of the day, you can spend time to walk around the village or swimming in the Nam Ha River. your guide will explain traditional architecture, farming practices, and daily village life.
Later, your guide and local guide will prepare traditional Khmu dishes using local ingredients and ancestral techniques. Enjoy dinner together and sharing stories for fun.
We will participate the experience a beautiful traditional children’s performance, offering a heartfelt glimpse into local culture and community spirit after dinner.
We take a relax around the fire after beautiful traditional children’s performance under the
stars for a truly meaningful cultural story exchange with villagers before go to bed.

Day3: Nalan Nuer-Nanlan Tai Village( Khmu ) – Nam Goy and Nam Lue village( Lanten Tribe ) and Return to City
After breakfast at the host's house, we will start walking to Nalan Tai village by crossing the Nam Ha swing bridge and then walking along the edge of the forest, rice fields and across the river to Nalan Tai village.
We will visit the local primary school and learn about village education, daily routines and traditional ways of living. Spend time interacting with villagers and gaining genuine insight into their community-based lifestyle.
After that we continue walking to the Lanten Village of NamGoy about 20 minutes. Visit traditional Lanten houses built in harmony with nature and learn about their unique culture and craftsmanship. As we well known for its traditional indigo-dyed textiles and handicrafts. During January-May of every year we will have chance see and learn about the origins of the bamboo paper production, they make and use in their spiritual rituals and other related of the spirit.
After Village we continue walk along small stream up hill to the mountain peak to the highest
mountain to 360’c to see jungle view and LuangNamtha city view before walk down to village to
meet your driver and transfer back to office/ Hotel/ Guest house.
